Faith had her first project to do a couple weeks ago. She had to research the Parrot Fish, list her resources, create a display, and then present it to her class. At first I thought, “Wow. She is only 8!” I underestimated her abilities! She did a fantastic job! I helped her with the internet and she wrote all the details she needed on her matrix. Then, the fun part…CREATING!
She decided on a 3-D box project with lots of glitter (that was sent by Lane Prairie just in the knick of time!).
I was really concerned that her teacher would think I did the project for her because she did such a fabulous job (and that was grounds for failure!), but all I did was use the hot glue for her. She is such a creative child and really shines when it comes to making things. She also loved getting to tell the class that this fish eats coral and poops it out 🙂
